One lucky finalist will be selected to sing a Karaoke song of their choice at the Waterfront Amphitheater after They Might Be Giants play. Winner will also receive a pair of tickets for the weekend.

This is not Nam, this is Karaoke. There are rules:

To enter, submit a video FIVE MINUTES OR LESS with an example of your performance and anything else that may convince the panel of bums that will be judging that you are worthy of being the Lebowski Idol.

We will accept VHS tapes, DVDs or streaming video* online.

*NO EMAIL ATTACHMENTS. The streaming video must be posted on its own server. We are not responsible if we cannot view the video with standard web browser plug-ins (Quicktime, Windows Media, Flash, etc)

Deadline to submit your video is July 15th ,2005. All video submissions become property of Lebowski Fest.

The winner will be selected by a panel of judges comprised of the Lebowski Fest Bums (Will, Scott, Bill, Ben, possibly special lady friends and various cronies who will thoroughly enjoy the modest task of viewing these submissions). The performances will be judged based on creativity, originality, suitability to the spirit of the event, talent or appalling lack thereof and what have you.

No person affiliated with Lebowski Fest including the above mentioned judges are eligible.(darn it!)

Must be 18 years or older to be eligible. No purchase necessary to win.

Winner will be given an opportunity to sing a Karaoke song no longer than five minutes after They Might Be Giants play and before the film is screened (approximately 11:30 pm) at the 4th Annual Lebowski Fest Opening ceremonies on July 22nd, 2005 at the Brown-Forman Waterfront Amphitheater.

The winner will also receive two complimentary tickets to the concert on July 22nd with They Might Be Giants and the main event on July 23rd.

Contest entries have been scarce so dont hesitate to enter.
